Gypsies and College Graduates — 6 Comments

  1. Heather, nice article. I understand where you are coming from, but being a college graduate, I felt as if I was ‘generalized’ into a crowd of people that just because I have a degree, I am now no longer fun and am working 9-5. You can’t sit and ponder “what ifs” all day long, but at the end of the day, if truly shouldn’t matter whether a degree will ultimately change who you are as a person. I wanted the degree for the experience and the education, both of which I cherish; and hopefully it will help me in the future. However you could still maintain a business gypsy life with also having a degree behind you… it’s all about perspective. You are who you are, free spirited and fun, don’t let worrying about additional education affecting that. It will only make you more interesting and more sure of what you want in life.
